30% of billionaires own cryptocurrencies
According to a survey conducted by Forbes magazine, almost 30% of billionaires invest their own money in crypto assets. This figure is higher than that of investors who do not have billions of dollars.
About 18% invest at least 1% of their income in cryptocurrencies, not perceiving it as a real opportunity to earn more money.
— 80% of billionaires invested less than one tenth of their wealth;
— 3.2% invested most of their savings in digital assets;
— 10% did not make such investments directly, but invested in cryptocurrency-related companies.
Sam Bankman-Fried, CEO of the FTX exchange, said that 76% of his $ 20.6 billion capital is in crypto assets.
Another billionaire owner, Bill Miller, founder and chief investment officer of Miller Value Partners, said he considers bitcoin (BTC) «an insurance policy against financial disaster.» In January of this year, Miller said that he had invested half of his savings in bitcoin.
