80% of people feel more comfortable in virtual reality than in real life

A global study by Momentum Worldwide has shown that people feel more comfortable in the metaverse than in real life. In virtual reality, consumers are looking for three main aspects: inspiration, individuality, and belonging.

The study also showed that:

• 80% of consumers consider the metaverse to be a much more inclusive place;
• 63% didn’t even feel like they were in the meta-universe all along;
• 85% like the fact that they can change their appearance at will;
• 79% say that their friends in this space accept them as they are

«Even though we are not yet close to fully understanding the impact of the metaverse on life, this study is important because it shows the positive potential of the technology. With many people searching for happiness, it seems that they are finding new ways to feel belonging and inspired in the meta-universe,» the analysts said.
