Joe Rogan: «Bitcoin has become a viable form of money»

The popular author of his own podcast and commentator for the Ultimate Fighter Championship (UFC) called bitcoin a competitor to fiat money, saying that the inability to control cryptocurrencies is driving the US government crazy.

Joe Rogan voiced his opinion on bitcoin in a podcast with Khalil Rountree. Rogan compared the development of bitcoin to the emergence of the Internet. Moreover, as in the case of the Internet, the authorities initially intended to control it, but then realized that full control was an unattainable goal.

Rogan objectively noted that people are already buying specific things with bitcoins, and in El Salvador and the Central African Republic, BTC has already been recognized as legal tender. This is driving the US government crazy, Rogan believes.

He believes that the regulatory policy of states that has intensified recently only shows how concerned the authorities are about the freedom of the cryptocurrency market.
