Nova Labs, the developer of the Helium blockchain, has announced a partnership agreement with the US mobile operator T-Mobile to enable all users of the decentralized network protocol from Helium to access the 5G Internet.

From now on, users will also be able to get high-speed Internet in places where there are no hotspots using the Helium network. In addition, Helium customers in the US were urged to inform blockchain representatives about «dead zones» where high-speed Internet from T-Mobile or the Helium network is still not available. «Nova Labs is committed to building a decentralized mobile network. Our new agreement with T-Mobile will provide subscribers with 5G coverage across the Americas and allow us to offer mobile products and services that will be easier to use thanks to 5G,» explained Amir Halim, CEO of Nova Labs.

It is worth noting that Helium’s native token, HNT, gained 20% after the announcement of the partnership agreement. At the time of writing, HNT is trading at $ 4.59.

The Binance system confused the MOBILE tokens of the Helium project with the HNT tokens. This way, users could move MOBILE tokens to HNT wallets — the exchange considered them legitimate HNT coins and allowed them to be sold. In total, users transferred 4,829,043 MOBILE tokens to HNT wallets and sold them.
