Famous Australian zoo to launch NFT collection
The family zoo of the famous TV presenter and environmentalist Steve Irwin will create a collection of tokens, the proceeds of which will go to protecting wildlife.
The collectible tokens will be called Wildlife Warriors and will be randomly generated, but they should represent images of the family zoo’s animals. The tokens will be issued by Meadow Labs, and Algorand will be used as a blockchain, which will allow the creation of tokens without emitting excessive CO2 into the atmosphere.
«Any innovation that helps preserve wildlife and protect the planet is a great option. Especially since the green blockchain will come to the rescue,» said the TV presenter’s son Robert Irwin.
Steve Irwin died on the set in 2006, but his family continues the initiatives he started.
