Elon Musk was offered to integrate blockchain technology into the social network Twitter

According to the personal correspondence between millionaire Elon Musk, who acquired Twitter, and Will McAskill, an advisor to the chairman of the FTX crypto exchange, Sam Bankman-Fried suggested that Musk integrate blockchain technology into the social network. As it turned out recently, Sam Bankman-Fried was interested in acquiring Twitter on his own, and later he offered Musk to work together to introduce blockchain technologies into the social network. However, Musk’s dialogues with Fried did not lead to a joint decision — the new owner of Twitter refused to waste time on «debates about the implementation of blockchain.»

It seems that the joke that everyone in the crypto community wants to help Musk with Twitter management and «knows best» is no longer a joke. Vitalik Buterin also shared his idea for optimizing Twitter’s operations, noting that Switzerland is an ideal place for Twitter’s headquarters. Buterin may have hinted at Musk’s love for cryptocurrencies. After all, Switzerland is called the capital of the cryptocurrency world in the EU. Compared to many other countries that seek to limit or even ban cryptocurrencies, Switzerland is considered a crypto-oriented country where almost any action with cryptocurrencies is allowed.

On the positive side, the board will review blocked accounts, and after a detailed review, some of them may be restored.
