Vitalik Buterin hints at further problems in the cryptocurrency industry
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has posted a cryptic tweet that, at first glance, could create additional uncertainty for the crypto community. Referring to rumors of a possible bankruptcy of Genesis Trading, as well as its parent company Digital Currency Group (DCG), Buterin tweeted: «…I feel like something big is about to happen.
I’m hearing through the grapevine that something important is about to happen. Please recognize the fact that my elite social connections to people who are early to know things make me cool, and please help me validate my self-image of coolness.

Etherium’s father did not go into details, but continued to tweet: «Please recognize the fact that my elite social connections are people who figure things out quickly, it makes me cool. Please help me confirm my own coolness.»
The likelihood that Buterin really wanted to cause concern in the crypto community with this tweet seems slim. It is possible that he is trolling Paul Graham, a programmer and investor who has been spreading rumors that the cryptocurrency industry will soon face «systemic risk»
A person I have known for more than ten years, who I consider trustworthy, is convinced the cryptocurrency economy will soon experience a systemic risk. I don’t know anything concrete, but if I were exposed, I would be concerned.

«A person I’ve known for over a decade, who I consider trustworthy, is convinced that the crypto economy will soon experience a systemic risk. I don’t know anything specific,» Graham mysteriously tweeted yesterday, November 20.
Currently, there are rumors in the crypto community about the possible bankruptcy of Genesis Trading. In turn, this could lead to the bankruptcy of the industry giant DCG. However, as long as there are no official denials or confirmations, the rumors remain at the level of rumors.
