Cryptocurrency Tether appeared in the Polygon network

Tether has announced the launch of the USDT stablecoin on the second-tier Polygon network.

According to Alchemy, as of April 2022, more than 19,000 decentralized applications are running on Polygon, six times more than in October.

«The Polygon ecosystem has seen historic growth this year, and we believe Tether will be essential to its continued prosperity,» said Paolo Ardoino, CTO of Tether.

In addition to Polygon, USDT is available on Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Algorand, Tron, Omni, EOS, Liquid Network, Kusama, and Standard Ledger Protocol (the blockchain of the Bitcoin Cash cryptocurrency).

Currently, the coin’s capitalization is $ 72 billion.
