The Ministry of Digital Transformation has created a course on blockchain and cryptocurrencies for Ukrainians

The Ministry of Digital Transformation is launching a crypto-literacy course for Ukrainians — from now on, anyone can learn about blockchain technologies and understand how the cryptocurrency market works for free. The course is being implemented in collaboration with WhiteBIT, the largest European crypto exchange from Ukraine, the Filecoin Foundation for the Decentralized Web, and Attlаntіs.world.

Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced the news on his Telegram channel.

«For several years now, the team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation has been actively working on the launch of the virtual asset market. This will be a powerful incentive for the development of the digital economy. And the readiness of Ukrainian society for this plays an important role. Our goal is to teach Ukrainians how to use crypto assets competently,» the Minister wrote.

The course program was developed together with experts from the Virtual Assets 2030 foresight. Users will have 100 hours of theory and practice in a simulator format. Working on real cases in different ecosystems, Ukrainians will learn what cryptocurrency is, how to use it, and what opportunities the virtual asset market opens up for business and society as a whole.

The course will start in February 2023. The course will be available on the Diia. Digital Education portal. To pre-register, you need to fill out a Google form.

As a reminder, Fedorov recently announced that Ukraine would receive an additional 10,000 Starlink satellites, which will be financed by several EU member states. And CoinDesk, a publication about the cryptocurrency industry, has included the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation in the top 50 most influential people in the industry. «For having raised many millions in digital assets to protect Ukraine,» CoinDesk explained Fedorov’s election. The politician took an honorable 35th place in the ranking.
