May 30, 2022 · 10:53 am 1 min read

Kalush Orchestra, the band that won the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, sold its award for $ 900,000.

The Ukrainian cryptocurrency exchange WhiteBIT became the owner of the crystal microphone. The proceeds will be used to purchase a PD-2 unmanned aerial vehicle for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier this month, Kalush Orchestra members Binance-kalush-ta-inshi-artysty-zapuskayut-nft-kolekcziyu/">joined Binance’s NFT project to help Ukraine.

WhiteBIT is the largest crypto exchange in Europe with a team of over 600 employees. Since the beginning of the war, the exchange has raised more than UAH 100 million to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
