Top 10 bitcoin holders from Ukraine published for the first time
On February 17, Bitcoin Magazine Ukraine presented its first printed issue at the Follow Bitcoin conference, and it included the TOP 10 richest bitcoin holders in the country.
The ranking is headed by former Odesa City Council member Dmytro Palpatine, who owns more than 7,700 BTC (equivalent to $ 178 million as of February 1). The top three also includes Ivan Boichenko, a member of the Odesa District Council, with 5,750 BTC ($ 133 million), and Dmytro Holubov, a member of the VIII convocation, with 4,376 BTC ($ 101 million).
The top five are rounded out by Anatoliy Urbanskyi, an MP with assets of 4256 BTC ($ 98 million), and lawyer Sergiy Khoma, who owns 4147 BTC ($ 96 million).
Also in the Top 10 are Volodymyr Kryvosheya, owner of the Star Shine Shipping transportation company, with 3493 BTC ($ 81 million), Taras Shapovalov, head of Alania LLC, with 3256 BTC ($ 75 million), and Ruslan Tabunschyk, former deputy of the Odesa Regional Council, with 1600 BTC ($ 37 million).
The top ten is rounded out by two more ex-deputies of the Odesa Regional Council: Valentin Volkanov — 1500 BTC ($ 35 million) and Dmitry Pestruev — 1318 BTC ($ 30 million).
The most famous participant in the ranking is Ihor Kolomoisky. According to the British court records, he owns about 800 BTC ($ 18 million).
It is interesting that most of the participants in the rating are directly related to public office in Odesa.
