An unpacked first-generation iPhone released in 2007 was sold at an auction in the United States for $ 63,356. The initial cost of the rare item was $ 2500, and after 17 days and 27 bids, the auction ended at a record high.

The phone belonged to Karen Green, who received the iPhone as a gift, but due to incompatibility with the mobile network, she never used it.
