Cryptocurrency expert predicts bitcoin’s growth to $ 40,000

Michael van de Poppe, a cryptocurrency analyst and founder of Eight, has updated his forecast for bitcoin’s growth prospects to $ 40,000. The expert believes that the cryptocurrency market is currently subject to short corrections, which indicates an unmistakable upward trend.

«Bitcoin is currently trying to break through the $ 25,000 level, but I expect a correction to $ 22,700,» the analyst said.

De Poppe noted that if bitcoin successfully overcomes the $ 25,000 mark, the digital asset will subsequently rise to $ 31,000. The next step for the flagship cryptocurrency will be $ 35,000 and, ultimately, the final stage — $ 40,000.

Interestingly, De Poppe considers not only BTC to be a promising digital asset. Earlier, he named Litecoin, Polygon, and Fantom as his favorites.

According to the analyst, in 2023, LTC could grow by more than 22% from its current value. Regarding MATIC, De Poppe emphasized that the digital asset is likely to regain the price level of $ 84, but this will happen after falling below $ 80.

Michael van de Poppe also assured that FTM will reach $ 0.235 if it returns to the price range of $ 0.2075-$ 0.210. At the time of writing, FTM has already exceeded the crypto expert’s expectations and is trading at $ 0.54 with a market capitalization of $ 1.5 billion.
