Cryptocurrency developer Cardano denies that it plans to buy CNN

In an interview, the founder of the Cardano blockchain revealed some details of the deal to acquire Coindesk, the largest news media outlet about the crypto industry. The businessman denied the rumors about the acquisition of the CNN media giant, clarifying that he has no interest in acquiring a «traditional media channel.»

During an ask-me-anything (AMA) session on YouTube, the entrepreneur said that he had signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). That is why he cannot give out all the details of negotiations on the purchase of Coindesk.
At the same time, Charles Hoskinson expressed doubt that the deal could take place at all: «I don’t think I’ll buy it, but we’ll see where the negotiations go.»

Earlier, Charles Hoskinson proposed to integrate NFT technology into news so that users could interact with such content. According to the Cardano developer, people would be able to treat each individual story «as a living object.»
