3:06 pm, March 25, 2023

According to media reports, the self-proclaimed «Crypto King» and founder of the bankrupt AP Private Equity crypto project, Aiden Pleterski, was kidnapped and tortured in an attempt to obtain millions in ransom.

The CTV News Toronto (CTVNT) news agency has obtained documents revealing the details of the incident that happened to Aiden Pleterski. He was kidnapped by criminals in the center of Toronto and tortured and beaten for three days as the criminals tried to get a ransom in exchange for his life.

«He was kidnapped and held for approximately three days, driven to different parts of southern Ontario, beaten, tortured, allowed to call only specific people and demanded a multi-million dollar ransom,» reads the court case filed over Pleterski’s abduction.

A Toronto police spokesperson declined to comment on witness statements, the list of suspects, or the status of arrests made in connection with the case in the interests of the investigation.

«Aiden ran a business that he told people he would invest their money in, but he didn’t. He didn’t do anything he said he would do. And obviously, he owes people a lot of money,» commented bankruptcy trustee Rob Stelzer.

pleterski, the 23-year-old founder of AP Private Equity, raised approximately $ 40 million in his crypto project. Pleterski guaranteed investors that he would increase their investments by at least 7%, but in fact, more than 98% of the funds he raised were never invested, but were used to buy luxury goods and personal enrichment.
