Samsung will start consulting on Web3 issues on the Discord channel

The American division of Samsung is launching a new Discord server to cover its activities and consultations on Web3. Thus, the tech giant will join many crypto projects that use Discord for this purpose.

According to the company, their server was specially launched as a fun and interactive means of interaction between brand lovers, gamers, and content creators. Samsung US Discord will also provide «exclusive access to products, events, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and other Web3-based wonders.» As of this morning, the new Discord server had more than 100 members.

Apparently, no one told Samsung that Discord servers are constantly being hacked by cryptocurrency-related companies. Recently, the popular NFT project Bored Apes was hacked (and this is not the first time!). Therefore, the BAYC team decided that Discord is not suitable for Web3 projects — they do not put user security first.
