The cryptocurrency community is frightened by the information about the murder of a blockchain application developer
The cryptocurrency community has been shaken by the news of the murder of former Square CTO and Cash App founder Bob Lee. The man died on Tuesday after being stabbed multiple times in downtown San Francisco.
I just got devastating news that our friend Bob Lee (@crazybob) was killed in SF early today.
Bob was a dad, the former CTO of Square where he created Cash App & CTO of Mobile Coin. He was a generous decent human being who didn’t deserve to be killed.https://t.co/RnzA1Idpun

Twitter users are actively discussing the possible reasons for Bob Lee's murder and condoling with his family and friends. "He was a generous, decent man who did not deserve to be killed ," wrote Abra CEO Bill Barkhindt.
Was scheduled to work on @mobilecoin with you tomorrow AM @crazybob. You always believed in me, I’ll be forever grateful.
Committed to seeing this project for as long as the Team will have me, to the very end.

There is no mention of any possible suspects at this time, but police are already investigating the case. Bob Lee was the chief product officer of MobileCoin, a privacy-focused cryptocurrency company. He gained fame in the tech industry as the first CTO of the Square (Block) payment platform founded by Jack Dorsey and the founder of the Cash App mobile payment service.
