Twitter allows buying cryptocurrency tokens
The developers of the NFT analysis tool Inspect have integrated payment blockchain solutions from MoonPay into their Chrome browser extension. This will allow Twitter users to buy cryptocurrencies and NFTs.
The extension, released in June, provides crypto enthusiasts with information about popular NFT collections that are usually used as a profile picture on the social network (PFP). Twitter’s NFT Search tool, which is also available in beta, allows users to search for different ways to use NFTs on the platform and analyze blockchain data about the collection.
According to the press release, the partnership will allow Inspect users to purchase a range of cryptocurrencies using MoonPay’s payment infrastructure. In turn, MoonPay supports the following payment methods: debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, as well as various local bank transfers.
MoonPay CEO and co-founder Ivan Soto-Wright said: «Working with Inspect will help to facilitate the widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies and create a borderless digital payment ecosystem that anyone can participate in, regardless of their level of experience.»
It should be noted that Inspect was relaunched by its new owner in March after being closed earlier this year. The firm continued to develop its software that helps NFT traders track market trends. The firm also recently entered into a partnership with Polygon Labs.
In April, Twitter launched trading in various assets through a partnership between the social network and the eToro platform. Users will be able to see price charts of cryptocurrencies and stocks, as well as buy and sell these assets. Twitter already provides the ability to view real-time charts of financial assets using the Cashtags feature.
