On Tuesday night, cryptocurrencies from the top 10 lost their positions
Cryptocurrency analysts have drawn attention to the short-term decline in the most popular digital assets — on Tuesday night, bitcoin, ethereum, and most of the top 10 tokens fell in price.
According to CryptoMarketCap, bitcoin has lost 0.8% over the past 24 hours, dropping to $ 30,034. On Tuesday, the price of the token fell to $ 29,685 in early morning Asian trading.
«On the weekly timeframe, bitcoin is rising at the highs and lows, but falling at the close and opening,» said Alex Kupskevich, senior market analyst at London-based online brokerage FxPro. «The inability to climb from current levels opens the door for a correction to the $ 27,000 area if risk-off sentiment intensifies this week.»
As for the state of affairs of altcoins, ethereum fell by 1.2% over the past day, currently trading at $ 1901. The biggest drop was in the cryptocurrency of the Ukrainian developer Solana, which lost 6.4% in 24 hours, and is currently trading at $ 25.61.
For several weeks in a row, SOL was the only token in the top 10 list that managed to grow by more than 2.5% per week. Last week, Solana rose by almost 15% in 7 days. Real Vision CEO Raul Pal recently stated that Solana is developing in a similar scenario to that of Ethereum in 2018. After heavy losses, ETH grew 47 times. According to the expert, SOL can soar 20 times in the medium term compared to current values.
