According to the victim, in June, Kuldeep met a woman named Aditi on a dating site who first made him fall in love with her and then lured him out of money under the guise of investment. The accused posed as a British businesswoman who was involved in the import and export of goods. According to the user, the woman drew him into a fraudulent scheme by promising good profits.

According to media reports, Aditi convinced Kuldeep to invest in a cryptocurrency called Banocoin. She even provided him with the contact number of the cryptocurrency firm’s account manager. Trusting the recommendations, Patel registered on the platform. According to the police report, Patel invested about $ 120,500 in an unknown cryptocurrency, making 18 transactions.

Patel explained that he trusted Aditya because he initially made a profit of 78 USDT from an investment of $ 1200. However, Patel became concerned when his attempt to withdraw several thousand from his account failed. The scammers told him that his account was frozen and that additional investments were required to continue working.

He tried to contact Aditi, but she did not respond. Patel then realized that he had become a victim of cyber fraud, which prompted him to contact law enforcement.
