Trezor has stolen email addresses of their cryptocurrency wallet owners

Unfortunately, there is enough bad news without us, but this one is really important. The Czech company Trezor, which produces hardware wallets, has announced that some of the email addresses of their wallet owners have fallen into the hands of cybercriminals.

The data leak occurred through the MailChimp service. According to preliminary information, someone from MailChimp «helped» this to happen.

Despite the fact that Tresor employees have already changed the domain from which the company’s official emails are sent, we advise you not to open them for as long as possible, as it is quite easy to confuse domains. The number of compromised user email addresses is currently being determined.
