Google provoked the growth of a little-known digital token
NOT financial advice!
As expectations for the future of cryptocurrencies grow, the number of partnerships in this area continues to increase. At the moment, the latest news in the crypto industry is the partnership between Google Cloud and Flare Network.
According to an announcement made on the X platform on Monday, January 15, Google Cloud has joined the Flare blockchain as a validator and infrastructure provider. It should be noted that the Flare Network provides developers with access to decentralized data through the Oracle system.
«Today, Flare announced the addition of Google Cloud as an infrastructure provider, enabling the network validator and the Oracle Flare Time Series Oracle (FTSO) on the Flare Network. As a network validator, Google Cloud will be responsible for proposing and validating new blocks on the Flare blockchain, thus supporting the chain’s consensus mechanism for confirming stakes. Google Cloud will be one of the 100 organizations in Flare that will take on the new combined role of validator and FTSO participant,» the company said.
After the news of the partnership, the FLR token of the Flare Network grew by 9%.
As a reminder, the account of the American information security company Mandiant (a subsidiary of Google) was recently hacked to conduct cryptocurrency fraud. The attacker renamed Mandiant’s X-Twitter account to @phantomsolw and spread false information about a free distribution of $PHNTM tokens on behalf of the Phantom crypto wallet.
