Blockchain technologies will help Ukraine to hold fair elections
Ukrainian military officer Yevhen Karas shared his opinion on the development of blockchain technologies in Ukraine. According to the military officer, blockchain technologies will help Ukraine to hold fair elections.
Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier, activist, and recently blogger Yevhen Karas said that using blockchain, it is possible to develop a verification system for elections and referendums — the votes received will not be possible to fake or disregard. «Such voting can be done every day and for free. This is fast and transparent governance of humanity,» Yevhen Karas said on his stream.
Obviously, the idea of holding elections using blockchain technologies will appeal to the Ukrainian people to vote fairly and minimize fraud. Thus, Ukrainians became the first among the residents of other countries to use cryptocurrencies — the rating of the number of cryptocurrency owners was presented in the review of the UN Conference on Trade and Development. The top 10 also includes Venezuela (10.3%), Singapore (9.4%), Kenya (8.5%), the United States (8.3%), India (7.3%), South Africa (7.1%), Nigeria (6.3%), and Colombia (6.1%).
