Elon Musk and Donald Trump Technical University announces the launch of a course on virtual reality
The American university Wharton School, where Elon Musk and Donald Trump studied, has announced the launch of a course on virtual reality — Business in the Metaverse Economy.
According to an announcement on the university’s website, the Wharton School of Business became the first Ivy League institution to develop a course on the metaverse. Anyone can take part in the program, however, according to university representatives, Business in the Metaverse Economy will be most useful for professionals in the field of economics and business.
The Wharton School hopes that the course will help participants adapt to new realities and gain practical experience in the virtual space. The course students will have access to more than 50 lecture videos, will get acquainted with real-life examples and learn how to apply the knowledge gained in practice, and will have the opportunity to attend trainings from experts of one of the world’s leading consulting companies, Prysm Group.
Wharton Business School is not the only one that sees the need to increase the number of specialists in the field of virtual technologies. Recently, the Lebanese University announced the launch of a course dedicated to blockchain technologies and investing in cryptocurrencies, which is how the country hopes to fight hyperinflation. Also, the University of Cincinnati has launched two training programs on cryptocurrencies, bitcoin, and new financial technologies. And the University of Arizona is planning to issue non-fungible tokens and conduct virtual classes in the meta-universe.
