For years, Australian scientist and businessman Craig Wright has been trying to convince the world community that he is Satoshi Nakamoto, the mysterious developer of the bitcoin cryptocurrency. However, a lawsuit forced him to change his statements. Once again, the judge found no evidence to support his claims and ruled that Wright must admit the truth.
On his website, Wright posted a statement saying: «I, Craig Wright, am not Satoshi Nakamoto.» This statement came as a shock to many of his supporters who had believed his words for years. The confession also put an end to years of speculation and controversy surrounding the identity of the Bitcoin creator.
The legal proceedings surrounding Wright began several years ago, when he first claimed to be the creator of bitcoin. Numerous hearings were held in different jurisdictions, including the UK and the US, during which Wright tried to prove his right to the title of Satoshi Nakamoto. However, he failed to provide convincing evidence, such as access to the original bitcoin wallets or signing messages using keys known only to the real Nakamoto.
