JP Morgan tells what to expect from the crypto industry after Donald Trump’s victory
Experts from JPMorgan Investment Company have named the main changes in the cryptocurrency industry that may occur when Donald Trump takes office as president of the United States.
Analysts have identified six major potential changes that Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election could bring to the crypto industry.
According to crypto strategists, the new White House administration and a significant number of American politicians who are sympathetic to cryptocurrencies will contribute to the adoption of laws on digital assets and blockchain.
Experts believe that the approach to regulating the cryptocurrency industry will also change.
«If earlier the main powers were concentrated in the hands of the US Securities and Exchange Commission, now the supervision of crypto companies will be carried out cooperatively. In other words, regulatory obligations will be distributed among several agencies,» JPMorgan says.
At the same time, banks may be allowed to keep digital assets on their balance sheets.
Separately, analysts pointed to the likely emergence of new spot ETFs.
«We are talking about investment products based on assets such as XRP and Solana. However, this may take time, as the SEC will still consider the need and feasibility of launching these products,» JPMorgan emphasized.
In addition, experts predict a surge in venture capital activity in the industry.
As a result, the amount of funding in the industry may increase significantly, and some companies will try to conduct a public offering (IPO).
However, analysts do not believe in the creation of a national bitcoin reserve in the United States.
Cryptocurrency experts from VanEck predict that bitcoin will grow to $ 180,000 next year. This growth rate will be facilitated by the positive position of the newly elected US President Donald Trump on cryptocurrencies.
By the way, cryptocurrency analyst and founder of BitMEX Arthur Hayes said that the policy of the next US President Donald Trump will lead to an increase in the price of bitcoin to $ 1 million. The same opinion was expressed by the famous cryptocurrency analyst Michael van de Poppe.
Also, cryptocurrency analyst Lark Davis spoke about the factors that could push Bitcoin to $ 200,000 in 2025. The expert drew attention to the support for Bitcoin from Donald Trump’s supporters, including Robert Francis Kennedy Jr. and J.D. Vance.
