Cryptokits moved bitcoins by $ 54 million after 12 years of inactivity
Two cryptocurrency whales that had been inactive for almost 12 years suddenly made large transfers. It is noted that the first crypto whale transferred 200 BTC out of its total amount of 551 bitcoins to the Gemini cryptocurrency exchange.
According to Whale Alert, a large cryptocurrency owner received these 400 BTC back in 2012, paying $ 2149 for them. Now these assets are estimated at about $ 36 million.
The second crypto owner received his 43 bitcoin coins in late 2011 and early 2012. If this whale decided to sell his assets, their value at the time of the transfer was about $ 3.9 million. He still has 200 BTC on his balance sheet.
In total, the two crypto whales have moved 594 BTC, with a total value of over $ 54 million.
At the time of writing, the bitcoin rate reached $ 91.938, the market capitalization is $ 1.82 trillion, and daily sales stopped at $ 70.17 billion.
As a reminder, the owner of 325 bitcoins that had not been moved from his crypto wallet for 11 years recently moved them to another address. The transaction amounted to $ 22.5 million
