Donald Trump to launch his own cryptocurrency payment system

Trump Media, a tech company owned by US President-elect Donald Trump, is preparing to enter the cryptocurrency payment market. The company has filed an application for registration of the TruthFi trademark with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

The document states that TruthFi plans to provide custodial services, process cryptocurrency payments, and carry out transactions for the purchase and sale of digital assets.

The trademark will be used to protect the rights to the software of Trump Media’s own digital wallet. The application also mentions the collection and processing of digital asset market data for analysis and financial management.

It is reported that the patent attorney Gerben Intellectual Property confirmed the filing of the application and noted that its consideration will take place between April 17 and May 1.

It is expected that the registration of a new trademark can take from a year to a year and a half. The launch of TruthFi will be an important step towards the creation of a cryptocurrency platform that can change the digital finance market.
