The first virtual ATM will appear in the Decentraland metaverse

Metaverse Decentraland is launching its first ATM in partnership with Transak.

The Decentraland virtual ATM will support fiat payments. Users will be able to buy the internal MANA token as well as other tokens directly in the meta-universe.

Owners of virtual plots can apply to install such an ATM at their location. For this, the company will hold AirDrops for its first partners.

The goal of the new solution is to make Web3 transactions as similar as possible to the usual payments through real ATMs. This will simplify the adaptation of newcomers who have started exploring metaverse but do not yet have sufficient knowledge of cryptocurrencies.

The developers hope that such technologies will increase the total number of transactions in the virtual world.
