The EU is looking for ways to control cryptocurrency transfers

Representatives of the European Union Securities and Exchange Authority (ESMA) have announced that they will pay more attention to controlling cryptocurrency transactions. To this end, new ways of supervising transactions in the industry will be created.

The experts noted: «Starting from August 3, 2022, the EU crypto community has 2 weeks to join the discussion of the stated issues and help ESMA make the right decisions.»

The EU regulator is looking for ways to control over-the-counter cryptocurrency transactions or control exchange processes. The organization’s press service has published an open tender document aimed at collecting additional information on cryptocurrency transaction data. ESMA expects specialized companies to help solve these problems. To this end, the regulator offers candidates a tender contract for $ 102,000. The competition will end on August 17, 2022.
