Standard Chartered: BNB will rise to $ 2775
Analysts at Standard Chartered have released a long-term forecast for the BNB $621.45 BNB 3.85% Market capitalization $90.66 billion VOL. 24 hours $0.19 billion token of the Binance exchange, predicting that its price will rise to $ 2,775 by the end of 2028. The current value of BNB is about $ 605, and the potential growth, according to the bank, could reach more than 360%. Head of Digital Assets Jeffrey Kendrick calls BNB one of the key instruments in the cryptocurrency capital structure, comparing its dynamics to the unweighted portfolio of Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Although BNB may lag behind BTC and ETH in terms of growth and market capitalization, its unique tokenomics — a deflationary model and dependence on the Binance ecosystem — supports its long-term value. Analysts note that token holders receive discounts on fees depending on the volume of trading and the number of coins on their balance. This creates constant demand and stimulates activity on the network.
The report also states that BNB Chain has a centralized architecture with only 45 validators changing every 24 hours, which significantly distinguishes it from more decentralized networks such as Ethereum. At the same time, the development of the network continues: the Pascal hard fork has recently been completed, and the Maxwell update is expected in June, which should create additional incentives for developers.
Standard Chartered’s forecast also includes an assessment of the ratio of BNB to other crypto assets. According to their calculations, by 2027, the BTC/BNB ratio will increase to 180, while ETH/BNB will drop to 2.7. This suggests that Ethereum may outpace BNB in terms of growth, although not as fast as bitcoin.
Despite centralization and a decrease in development activity after the 2021 DeFi boom, the network retains liquidity thanks to platforms like PancakeSwap. Regular token burns and limited issuance create deflationary pressures that support the market value of BNB and, according to the bank’s analysts, justify its premium valuation.
