Bitcoin’s fall broke the six-year «Uptober» trend, when the cryptocurrency traditionally showed positive dynamics in October. From 2019 to 2024, BTC consistently ended the month with an average gain of 20.6%. The highest rate was in 2021 (40%), and in 2024 — 11.2%. In October 2025, a decline of 5.5% was recorded.
CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler notes that the market is under pressure from bearish sentiment. Bitcoin’s attempts to recover after falling on October 10, 13, and 20 failed, which may indicate a bull trap. The BTC Futures Flow Index remains below 45 points, indicating weak buying interest.
Despite this, some analysts remain cautiously optimistic. If bitcoin maintains support around $ 106,500, it may recover to $ 114,000 or $ 120,000 if the US Federal Reserve cuts the rate. CryptoQuant analyst Joao Watson believes that the projected top of the current cycle at $ 146,000 remains relevant.
