Binance to launch a pilot project to train Web3 developers
BNB Chain, a platform created by Binance, has announced the launch of a Web3 development training course in collaboration with Platzi, an educational platform. The course materials will be available to students from Latin America, with a total enrollment of up to 30,000.
Regina Gwendolyn, Chief Investment Officer of BNB Chain, said that the course is aimed at developing the skills of web developers.
«The initiative emphasizes the wider use of blockchain and Web3 in Latin America. Usually, the biggest obstacles to entering the industry are the lack of education and the imperfect legislative system. Therefore, education is a key factor in the development of the cryptocurrency industry,» Gwendolyn summarized.
To encourage people to take part in the new course, which will be held at the developer camp in Bogota, Colombia, the organizers promise to pay scholarships to the most successful students.
As a reminder, the head of the Colombian National Tax and Customs Administration (DIAN), Luis Carlos Reyes, announced the government’s intention to launch its own digital currency.
