Experts name the most unprofitable cryptocurrencies over the past 7 days

Market analysts talked about the cryptocurrency assets that proved to be the most unprofitable in the period from August 15 to 21. Short-term investors lost a lot of money, as three cryptocurrencies fell by more than 30%.

The leader in negative performance was the notorious Celsius (CEL) cryptocurrency. The token’s rate was extremely unstable — it lost 7.43% of its value over the past day, and 33.56% over the past 7 days. The price of CEL fell to $ 2.53, and its capitalization was equal to $ 603.73 million.

The second place in terms of losses went to the token of the decentralized platform Lido DAO. The LDO token fell by 30.52%, while the cryptocurrency rose by 9.15% over the past day. The price was fixed at $ 2.08, and the market capitalization reached $ 649.62 million.

Oasis Network is the third most unprofitable cryptocurrency. Over the past 7 days, the ROSE token has fallen in price by 30.09%. On leading cryptocurrency exchanges, it was traded at an average rate of $ 0.069, and its market capitalization amounted to $ 350.99 million.

Market experts emphasized that 8 other cryptocurrencies lost more than a quarter of their value. They include: Curve DAO Token (-28.96%), NEAR Protocol (-27.8%), The Graph (-27.67%), THORChain (-26.79%), Convex Finance (-26.21%), Axie Infinity (-26.1%), Flow (-25.34%), and Fantom (-25.23%).
