Australian blockchain startup offers NFT token collectors to fly into space

Crypto Competitions, an Australian startup for Web3-based sweepstakes, has recently signed a partnership with World View, a research company that studies the Earth’s stratosphere. The blockchain startup is offering holders of its NFTs a chance to win a priority seat on a World View space flight scheduled for 2024.

Harls Kennard, CEO of Crypto Competitions, said that such a lottery is a way to celebrate the launch of the trading platform. He explained that his company wants to use blockchain to raffle off space flights because this technology allows the lottery to be transparent, fair, and secure.

The Crypto Competitions model is a similar to traditional lotteries NFT lottery that uses tokens as a sweepstakes «ticket». The drawing process uses a gradual process of eliminating participants. A total of 7000 NFT holders can participate in the lottery.

Kennard noted that in the future, there are plans to hold drawings that will include tokens from Bored Ape Yacht Club, as well as other privileges that will change people’s attitude to cryptocurrency lotteries.
