GTA co-author becomes interested in blockchain technologies
Dan Houser, co-founder of Rockstar and co-creator of the GTA series of games, has demonstrated his interest in blockchain technologies: Houser has invested more than $ 13 million in the development of Revolving Games, which develops blockchain-based gaming projects and tools.
Obviously, Revolving Games has great potential and has already earned the trust of well-known platforms. In addition to GTA’s parent, the founders of Animoca Brands, Polygon, Dapper Labs, and Pantera Capital have invested in Revolving Games. Over the past 2.5 years, three brothers from Pakistan, who co-founded Revolving Games, have managed to raise $ 25 million in investments.
As for the plans of Revolving Games, in the next 2 years, the studio will develop ready-made decentralized solutions for large game franchises in the Web3 sphere. The founders of the studio also plan to implement their own projects, but they have not disclosed detailed information about them yet.
It is worth noting that the authors of GTA 6 are considering the integration of cryptocurrency into the gameplay. According to insider information that emerged in late June, GTA 6 will have an in-game cryptocurrency that players can earn and exchange.
