A cryptocurrency market trader invested $ 160 in a meme token on the Solana blockchain and later turned it into $ 5.6 million, taking advantage of the popularity of the «Just a chill guy» meme.
On November 15, the trader reportedly purchased CHILLGUY tokens, a digital asset created on the basis of a meme that went viral on social media.
He first spent 0.5 SOL ($ 107) for 9.6 million tokens on the Pump. fun platform, and later added another 0.246 SOL ($ 51) for 2.8 million tokens.
By November 27, the token’s market capitalization had grown to $ 643 million, and its price reached $ 0.58.The trader sold some of his assets at an early stage for 149 SOL (about $ 35,000), which, however, deprived him of the opportunity to earn another $ 1.6 million.
At the time of writing, the trader still owns 9.62 million tokens, which are estimated to be worth about $ 5.6 million.

Meanwhile, the author of the «Just a chill guy» meme, known online as PhillipBankss, publicly opposed the use of his work in cryptocurrency projects.
He claimed copyright and intends to take legal action to stop the use of his art for commercial purposes.
Nevertheless, members of the cryptocurrency community have expressed doubts about the possibility of regulating decentralized meme tokens. Some even argue that such assets remain «immortal» thanks to the blockchain.
