A Ukrainian cryptocurrency startup has created a dapp application that will become a competitor to Worldcoin

The RariMe app scans a passport using a smartphone, confirming the user’s uniqueness by nationality, age, and other parameters without disclosing confidential information. This distinguishes it from Worldcoin, which uses special orbs to digitize the iris.
According to Kitty Horlick, CEO of Rarimo, the provider of Rarilabs, the app allows dapps to verify their identity, citizenship, or age and simply request the relevant proof. In the first demonstration scenario, the dapp will use passport ZKs for programmable airdrops of citizens of certain countries.
Rarimo co-founder Lasha Antadze noted that privacy is a freedom that no longer exists in the online space. RariMe aims to change this situation by providing users with the ability to remain incognito while interacting in Web3 in a truly anonymous manner.
Earlier, Vitalik Buterin named various ways to use cryptocurrencies in everyday life, such as using ZKP mechanisms to verify identity, credentials, or reputation.
