American movie theater chain receives 35% of payments in cryptocurrencies

Adam Aron, CEO of AMC Theaters, has admitted that the integration of cryptocurrency payments into payment instruments has significantly affected business performance.

He said this while commenting on the financial report for the first quarter of 2022. Having added BTC, BTH, ETH, LTC, DOGE, and SHIB just a few months ago, the chain’s representatives can state that up to 35% of payments are made in cryptocurrency.

AMC Theaters is currently working on various NFT token concepts, as they have felt the demand for such an offer from similar brands like them. Some of them may appear on the market this year.
