An American retired breakdancer has become one of the oldest popularizers of bitcoin cryptocurrency technology

8:31 am, August 25, 2022

One of the world’s oldest breakdancers is popularizing the first cryptocurrency on US dance floors. At 64 years old, Ben Hart considers himself «the world’s oldest breakdancer actively engaged in breakdancing and promoting the purchase of bitcoin.» Hart took up street dancing in 2011, and in 2014, he began to hone his knowledge of bitcoin. He spent hundreds of hours studying the technology and read the Bitcoin White Paper.

When bitcoin plummeted in value during the Covid-19 pandemic, Hart decided to buy even more cryptocurrency. He explains: «When the US Federal Reserve started printing money maniacally in 2020 to start handing it out to people, I thought that was exactly the situation that bitcoin was created for.» Amidst the general pessimism about the coronavirus pandemic, Hart enthusiastically talked about cryptocurrencies to his friends, advised them to refrain from buying altcoins, and even wore cryptocurrency merchandise to breakdance competitions.

Now he devotes his time to cryptocurrency education. People like Hart are called bitcoin boomers — people born between 1946 and 1964. By the way, Ben Hart will soon release his first book about bitcoin.

Recently, we Binance/">told you about an 84-year-old Ukrainian woman who became the oldest user of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance. The woman receives money transfers on the Binance Refugee Card, a special charity payment card created for displaced people from Ukraine who have suffered from Russian aggression.
