Analysts name 3 cryptocurrencies that will benefit from Ethereum’s transition to PoS

Cryptocurrency analysts have compiled a list of tokens whose value may increase after Ethereum switches to the green blockchain. Interestingly, according to experts' forecasts, the price of some cryptocurrencies may not only increase but also «outrun» the value of ETH.

According to analysts, the Lido DAO (LDO) cryptocurrency is expected to grow in value in September, having increased by more than 200% since July 16, when the preliminary date of the ETH transition to PoS was announced.

The second place is taken by Ethereum Classic (ETC), which is a hard fork of Ethereum. At the end of July, ETC grew by 65% in a week, following the advice of Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin to invest in Ethereum Classic and after crypto miner Antpool announced plans to invest $ 10 million in ETC.

The third cryptocurrency that may grow in value after Ethereum switches to the green blockchain is Optimism (OR). The OR token grew by 250% after the announcement of the date of the transition to RoS.

As a reminder, today it became known that the new date for the transition to the green blockchain will be a few days earlier than promised by Ethereum’s chief developer Tim Bako. After the ethereum developers chose the total difficulty (TTD) where the transition to the PoS algorithm will take place (TTD 58,749,999,999,999,996,329,984), the Ethereum team announced September 15 or 16 as the final date for the transition to the Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism.
