Analyst predicts growth of altcoins to new historical highs

A well-known crypto analyst has predicted that the collective market capitalization of altcoins will grow much more than most traders expect. As Michael van de Poppe told his 692,800 followers on the social platform X, altcoins will reach new historical highs.

«People are asking themselves, will altcoins break their all-time high? The same thing happened in 2020. The answer: Yes, they will. Yes, they will go higher than you can imagine ,» the analyst said.

Analyzing the charts of Ethereum, the largest altcoin by market capitalization, Van de Poppe explained that ETH is in a «waiting game» until its next big move up. «A waiting game until Ethereum starts to gain momentum. It broke through the $ 2,150 level for support, and now we are waiting for a breakout to continue the growth to $ 3,500.»

As for other cryptocurrencies, the analyst said that the decentralized oracle network Chainlink (LINK) could grow by about 90% of its current value. «Chainlink is still stuck in a range, but it is likely to break out.
