Analysts predict Ethereum’s fall to $ 2400

Analyst Ted Pillows warned in his post on the X platform (formerly Twitter) that without a quick recovery above $ 3,000, the price could fall to the $ 2,800 range, which would mean another 5% loss. His assessment was supported by other market observers, who pointed to weak buyer activity and uncertainty about the continuation of the uptrend.

Another analyst, known as Columbus, noted that Ethereum is trading below its volume-weighted average price (VWAP), indicating that it lacks sufficient momentum to break out. According to him, the key liquidity zone is located between $ 3,050 and $ 3,250, which is currently holding back further growth. If the cryptocurrency fails to stay above $ 2,850, it could cause a deeper drop to liquidity levels between $ 2,400 and $ 2,700.

Pillows emphasized that the current recovery from $ 2,800 to $ 2,850 looks more like a technical rebound than the beginning of a new wave of growth. This indicates that the market remains mostly cautious, and investors do not show much interest in accumulating positions.

At the same time, an expert with the nickname CryptoBullet presented a pessimistic forecast for 2026, according to which Ethereum could fall to $ 1,385. His fractal model, which repeats the behavior of the market in 2022, predicts a short-term recovery early next year, followed by a 63% decline from the current level.
