Anonymous whale made cryptocurrency transactions for more than a billion dollars

According to the cryptocurrency tracker Whale Alert, an unknown whale has withdrawn more than $ 1.02 billion in cryptocurrencies from the Huobi exchange this morning. The cryptocurrency wallet owner made several transactions in bitcoin and ether, as well as Huobi Token (HT).

First, the investor made three large transfers of the flagship virtual currency from the crypto exchange account to an unknown wallet in less than 1 minute. The first transaction was in the amount of 9,543 BTC, totaling $ 178.87 million at the time of the transfer. Then the whale sent another 9,379 BTC ($ 175.79 million) and finally sent 5,270 BTC ($ 98.79 million). Thus, the crypto mogul emptied the vault of approximately $ 453.45 million in crypto.

A few minutes later, the anonymous person began to withdraw Ethereum from the trading platform. In total, he made 10 transactions worth $ 126.77 million. At first, he transferred 9,999 ETH ($ 12.65 million), and then within 10 minutes, he made 9 more transactions:

• 10,000 ETH ($ 12.70 million);
• 10,000 ETH ($ 12.72 million);
• 10,000 ETH ($ 12.69 million);
• 10,000 ETH ($ 12.63 million);
• 10,000 ETH ($ 12.64 million);
• 10,000 ETH ($ 12.69 million);
• 10,000 ETH ($ 12.64 million);
• 10,000 ETH ($ 12.67 million);
• 10,000 ETH ($ 12.65 million).

Just a few moments later, the crypto owner made two more transfers to BTC, withdrawing 9,543 BTC ($ 177.62 million) and 9,379 BTC ($ 175.99 million) from the exchange’s balance sheets. In the end, the crypto wallet owner transferred 20 million Huobi Token (HT) tokens worth $ 89.38 million from the trading platform’s accounts.

As a reminder, the value of ETH has fallen by almost 6% today. As of this morning, the virtual asset was trading at $ 1,259.77, which is 5.95% lower than the previous day. As for the flagship virtual currency, the value of BTC has also fallen. As of today, the digital asset is trading at $ 18,680, having lost 1.84% of yesterday’s performance.
