An art object created with the help of artificial intelligence was sold as NFT

The Turkish-American artist Refik Anadol, together with UNICEF, auctioned off a sculpture created with the help of artificial intelligence in the format of an NFT token.

The artwork «Feeling Healed» is considered to be one of the world’s largest sculptures created by artificial intelligence. According to the artist, the work «visualizes the recovery process of patients with mental health problems based on brain activity data sets collected by EEG, fMRI, and DTI imaging methods.»

It is worth noting that this is the only NFT project for UNICEF so far, although the organization has been working in the crypto industry since 2019, when it created a cryptocurrency fund. The CryptoFund financial mechanism was created to receive, store, and pay out cryptocurrency. Charitable contributions are accepted in HTS and ETN.
