Balenciaga starts accepting payments in bitcoin and ether

The most eccentric haute couture brand, especially known in recent years for its unconventional and scandalous collections, will start accepting cryptocurrency payments, in particular, in BTC and ETH. Cryptocurrencies will be accepted in Balenciaga’s flagship stores in Los Angeles and New York, as well as online on the brand’s website.

At the moment, it is unclear what technological solution the fashion house will choose to accept crypto payments, but it is clear that the brand is considering cryptocurrency in its long-term plans — even the record drop in the price of BTC did not make them abandon this idea.
