Benjamin Cohen: bitcoin will fall to $ 60,000

Renowned analyst Benjamin Cohen has warned of the likely end of the current bull cycle in the bitcoin and cryptocurrency markets. In his new video for nearly a million subscribers on YouTube, the expert said that the market is entering a phase of apathy, when more and more investors are beginning to accept the idea of a bearish period.

«This is the moment when indifference begins to dominate. People are getting used to the idea that we are entering a bear market. Historically, medium-term years often coincide with periods of decline,» Cohen explained. According to him, if the market repeats the usual cycle, the bearish phase could last until October 2026, although there are signs that the decline may end earlier.

The analyst emphasized that the price drop is a natural part of the crypto market cycle. «In the long run, the main profits are generated during bear markets. Those who bought at the end of 2022 earned the most — at around $ 15,000 — rather than those who entered at $ 70,000. The market needs to go through a downturn to create an opportunity for new growth,» he said.

According to Cohen, investors should remain calm and «trade the market as it is, not as we want it to be.» He emphasized that this is not the first and not the last bear market, and it is important not to try to fight its natural development.

Regarding the price forecast, Cohen believes that bitcoin could fall to the $ 60,000-$ 70,000 range in the summer of 2026, focusing on the 200-week simple moving average (SMA). In his opinion, this level will become a key support zone where a new entry point for long-term investors can be formed.
