Azov Battalion soldiers created their own NFT collection
Soldiers of the Azov Battalion, together with digital artists, have released the NFT collection See No Evil in support of Ukrainians.
«Brave soldiers are defending the country from the enemy every day — the least we can do is share the truth depicted in the NFT with the world. Buy our first collection on OpenSea and support the initiative. Glory to Ukraine, glory to our fighters!» — the authors of the project wrote in Telegram.
The See No Evil collection includes photographs of Ukrainian soldiers whose eyes are «painted» with the blue and yellow colors of the Ukrainian flag. The series consists of 10,000 non-fungible tokens, of which 5,000 will be given away for free to everyone. To do this, you need to fulfill several conditions: subscribe to the project’s Telegram channel, go to the AZOV NFT bot and click «Start» — the airdrop will be carried out shortly.
The first 1000 NFTs can be purchased on OpenSea, with prices ranging from 0.0265 ETH to 0.0285 ETH ($ 47−50). The project authors Ivan Mikhailov and Yuriy Denisenkov named 3 main goals of See No Evil:
- to financially support the Azov fighters;
- to popularize the heroism and deeds of Ukrainian defenders;
- thanks to the NFT, not to let anyone forget about the war in Ukraine.
Drawing attention to Ukrainian heroism through NFTs is becoming increasingly popular, as recently President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke at an international security summit wearing a T-shirt with the image of the non-fungible token Spray Paint Ukraine. NFT was created by a 16-year-old girl in support of Ukraine.
