Binance signs a partnership agreement with Kazakhstan

During the meeting with President Tokayev, the parties discussed the prospects for long-term cooperation between the relevant agencies of Kazakhstan and Binance in the field of digital finance and the implementation of joint educational programs in the field of blockchain technologies, as well as the creation of a regional crypto industry hub in Kazakhstan.

Following the meeting in the presence of President Tokayev, the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry and Binance signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

«Organizing a positive impact on society is one of our main goals,» Changpeng Zhao said during the meeting. «Kazakhstan is one of the world leaders in the crypto mining industry. The country was one of the first in the world to legalize cryptocurrencies. We believe that in full cooperation with the local authorities, Binance can make a great contribution to the development of the blockchain ecosystem in Kazakhstan.»

As part of the agreement, Binance will advise policymakers and lawmakers on cryptocurrency regulation.
