Bitcoin mining complexity has set a new historical record
During the latest recalculation, the complexity of bitcoin mining increased by 0.63%, reaching a record high of 102.29 T. This was due to an increase in the average hashrate, which reached 755.3 EH/s during the two-week recalculation era.
According to Glassnode, on November 18, the average hashrate based on the 7-day moving average was 738.4 EH/s, and the maximum reached 755.8 EH/s. According to the Hashrate Index, the hash price rose to $ 58.6 per PH, which demonstrates an increase in profitability for miners. According to The Block, the 7-day moving average daily income of miners reached ~$ 41 million, indicating high demand and activity in the Bitcoin network. It is worth adding that the new difficulty record emphasizes the steady growth of the network’s capacity and its attractiveness for miners around the world. For reference: The hash rate is an indicator of the computing power provided by miners to keep the blockchain running. It reflects how many calculations are performed every second to solve the cryptographic tasks required to confirm transactions and add new blocks to the blockchain.
